Mr. Chau practices in the areas of securities, futures, commodities, litigation/arbitration, regulatory, corporate, commercial, and transactional law. In addition, his practice includes disciplinary matters before the securities and self-regulatory organizations and the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
He graduated from New York University with a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems and received his J.D. from Fordham Law School where he was an editor on the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal.
Mr. Chau's prior legal experience includes work in a general practice firm specializing in trusts and estates, as well as work in a large firm on an insurance antitrust matter. Prior to law school, he was an equity research analyst for a large brokerage house. |
